Demand Planner
We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Demand Planner to join our European Product Team. This role is central to our proactive Supply Chain Planning processes, responsible for generating and refining demand forecasts that drive critical business decisions. By combining advanced analytical tools with commercial insights, the Demand Planner ensures our forecasts are accurate, actionable, and aligned across teams. This position plays a key role in leading the Demand Review Meetings and optimizing supply chain performance through data-driven planning.
Principal responsibilities- Own and manage demand planning data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality input across systems and processes.
- Analyze historical sales data to identify demand patterns, exceptions, and generate accurate baseline forecasts using advanced statistical tools (e.g., Arkieva).
- Enrich forecasts with business driven adjustments based on market and sales performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, regional, and supply chain teams to gather input and align on forecast assumptions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for forecast discrepancies and implement corrective actions to continuously improve planning reliability.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, bias, and value-added metrics; follow up on previous months’ performance with relevant teams.
- Maintain and improve demand planning processes and systems, including optimization of Default Warehouse data in alignment with regional needs.
- Lead and facilitate Demand Review Meetings, ensuring alignment on forecast accuracy, performance, and business expectations.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in demand planning, including proficiency with software tools such as Arkieva, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms..
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
