EHS Technician

Position detailsReports to: Site Manager
Purpose of the Role: Support and enforce EHS policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage workplace safety and industrial hygiene at the Lavrion plant through technical expertise and daily oversight.
Opportunity- Oversees all aspects of Process Safety and Personal Safety, ensuring implementation of preventive measures and safety procedures across the plant
- Coordinating and monitoring Safe Work Permits and other Safety Standards implementation at the Site
- Checking and monitoring on regular basis functionality of Safety and Fire fighting equipment
- Manages all activities related to Industrial Hygiene, including monitoring exposure risks and promoting a healthy work environment at the Lavrion plant
- Coordinates and maintains the Fire Protection Systems of the plant, ensuring proper operation, maintenance, and compliance with legal and company standards
- Supports implementation of ISO 45001:2018 Safety Management System, ensuring its continuous improvement and alignment with corporate and legal requirements.
- Technological Educational Institute Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences (e.g. Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related field).
- Previous working experience in the field or in an industrial environment is desirable
- Good knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
