To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for an Account Manager Animal Nutrtion!
Purpose of the role:
As an Account Manager Animal Nutrition, you are responsible for managing and expanding our customer portfolio within the animal nutrition sector:
- You work closely with both existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate nutritional solutions.
- You play a crucial role in achieving our sales objectives and strengthening our market position.
- You manage and expand the customer portfolio as a preferred partner within the Belgium-Netherlands region and some key customers in the EU.
- You build and maintain strong relationships with your customers and suppliers.
- You identify new business and market opportunities.
- You prepare and follow up on quotes and sales contracts.
- You pursue sales objectives.
- You work intensively with internal teams, including logistics and sales support, to ensure efficient service delivery.
Your background:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., veterinary medicine, animal sciences, economics).
- At least 3-8 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent negotiation skills and commercial insight.
- Strong communication and social skills.
- Good command of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and relevant certifications (FAMI-QQ, FCA, ISO) is a plus.
- Solution-oriented thinking and a positive attitude.
- Good knowledge of English, Dutch and French is crucial to build a good partner relationship.
- You are a commercial talent who can work independently, organized, and result-oriented.
